Big Tone Torres

I caught Big Tone playing with the great blues band “Honolulu Slim” a few years back, and I knew that at some point I’d have him in the band. He is one of the few guitar players that could thrill me as a 3 pc. band for three sets. His attitude, choices, soulful style and his raw blues energy along with very capable vocals will carry his career far.  He joined the D.C. & Co. Family about 3 years ago. He and Mike Bitts on Bass  debuted the same night and from the first hit, they sounded like they’ve  been playing with us forever. Big Tone’s passion is “Punkabilly” Though you won’t catch that with us he is putting a project together featuring that. (Stay tuned) . He’s also a good writer and I featured his original “Move It On Down The Line” on our  “Ain’t That Somethin’” album. If a smart record label doesn’t pick him up soon,  I’ll eventually produce, record and sell a Big Tone Torres CD.
....15 years later, 2015 An Ibogaine session, later, (he's still  with D.C. & Co.) Tony Torres, is finally doing what he was born to do, rock it Tony Torres style. Please visit his website! https://dcandco.net/tonytorres.htm
